Highly digestible nutrients

Around the time of weaning, the piglet’s enzymatic load (figure 1) makes it necessary to provide specific nutrients with a similar composition to the sow’s milk (figure 2):

It is therefore essential to provide a sufficient quantity before and after weaning:

  • Lactose: the only sugar present in sow milk,
  • Digestible fat: main source of energy for the piglet,
  • Highly absorbable protein: dairy protein (whey and casein) or plant proteins specifically treated for young animals (micronised and secured against antitrypsin factors)

Easy-to-use products

Thanks to spray-drying techniques, the fat that we provide is micro-encapsulated in the centre of the raw dairy materials. Therefore, the fatty acids have greater protection against oxidation, their digestibility is optimised, and the product remains fluid in your production circuits and makes the final granulation of your piglet feed easier.

Lactose is an unstable molecule that can cause dairy ingredients to set in powder form. We understand the drying process of dairy products and the use of a tropical chamber to test our finished products (in extreme temperature and humidity conditions), means we can offer you products without any risk of caking.
